Bring the Outdoors In

Typically one would think that polypropylene rugs are only good for outdoors. However, a great place for these rugs are under the dining table since stains wipe easily off with a little water. Ikea's Drakor rug is a S-T-E-A-L for $79.99. You won't find rugs of this size (~ 7 x 10) & quality for under a $100.

What would you recommend for a rug under a 54" dining table. I have kids, so it has to be hardy, and cats, so easily scratchible fibers.

I'm using this rug under a 60" round table. I thought that it was gonna look funny but it ended out working out really well. Ikea has other rugs for '08 in sisal that are really affordable too.

Thanks for your response. I will think about rectangular rugs. Unfortunately, sisal and cats are not a good idea tho...
